Are you a Hidden gem?

Over the weekend I discovered that a cafe in my town had a wonderful hidden backyard (part if it’s in the photo below) and it was perfect on a warm sunny day!

The thing is it’s been open all year and I didn’t know 🤯

How could I have missed somewhere so perfect to sit for a coffee and chat?

I walked past it every week 😳 on my way somewhere else and didn’t take the time to look and see, probably I’d seen the small handwritten notice of outdoor tables at the back and dismissed it.

The cafe owners were not shouting about it, just had a tiny sign, yet it was almost full the whole time we were there (hence the small part of it in the photo!) 🪧

The people in the know were making the most if it, half the tables were reserved and others turned away as no room. Not sure the people there would want loads more people to know.

This works beautifully for an enclosed outdoor seating area for a small cafe with a fixed amount of space.

If you have a cafe, I’d love to see your hidden gem outdoor space.

For everyone else – are you being a hidden gem?

I know I’ve done that plenty in my own business and had every reason I could why I wasn’t seen more. BUT to serve the people who need me I can’t stay hidden; I can’t help if they can’t find me. They won’t see a small sign as they walk past or just happen on my services (well it’s unlikely!).

Now I’m on a mission to make sure I can be found by the people who I can serve!
